Deadline reports the upcoming Season 8 premiere, which is also the 100th episode of the series, will feature an extra scene that can be viewed via AMC’s new VR app. Executive producer Greg Nicotero directed the episode, titled “Mercy,” and Kevin Cornish is co-directing the 360-degree VR scene, which will focus on Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
