The live-action Dora the Explorer film from Michael Bay gets a release date. THR reports the movie is opening in theaters on August 2, 2019. James Bobin is directing from a script by Muppets writer Nick Stoller. Bay will be producing through his production company Platinum Dunes with Andrew Form and Brad Fuller.
