Black Panther and Fantastic Four’s Michael B. Jordan is set to executive produce and appear in a new superhero series on Netflix called Raising Dion. Netflix has ordered a 10-episode season of the one-hour sci-fi/family drama, which follows an African-American single mother, Nicole Reese, trying to raise her superhero son Dion after the death of her husband, Mark (Jordan). When Dion begins to manifest superhero-like abilities, Nicole must protect her son from dark forces trying to exploit him and keep Dion’s powers a secret.
