During the D23 Expo, Disney announced the cast for its upcoming live-action remake of Aladdin. Mena Massoud will play Aladdin in the film, while Power Rangers’ Naomi Scott will play Jasmine. Disney also confirmed that Will Smith will play Genie. Guy Ritchie is confirmed to direct after reports had previously said he was in talks to helm the film.
